Día sí, día también is an exploration into the act of getting out of bed. Getting up alone, at night to go to work. Getting up accompanied, climbing the bodies of my lovers after a night out. Getting up eagerly, slowly, quickly, happily, anxiously, with strength, with help, dreamy, aching…. Getting up without getting out of bed, getting up because I am alive.

It is a performance of several weeks that investigates the act of getting out of bed in different ways. A research from the body-bed, and an investigation based on a series of interviews with people from different lives about this act so common and yet so intimate. Ultimately, I managed to create pieces on how to wake up and get out of bed.
